Updated Excel export for participant and contact lists

We have updated the Excel export. It is now faster and more reliable, especially when you work with larger participant and contact lists.

The updated export creates files in .xls format, preserves Swedish characters and leading zeros, and handles dates and numbers correctly.

You will find it both as the XLS (BETA) button in the participant list of a form and under Contacts when you use the advanced search, including search with extra fields.

Good to know: Because the file is downloaded from the web, Excel often opens it in read-only mode and in compatibility mode (the older .xls format). This is normal and does not mean anything is wrong.

How to save your own copy: Open the file and choose File and then Save As. Choose where to save the file. If you want to remove compatibility mode, you can also change the format to Excel Workbook (.xlsx). After that you can edit and save as usual.

Delete multiple reminders at once

You can now select multiple invoice reminders in the invoice list and delete them in one go.

This is especially useful when you send reminders without a reminder fee. In that case there is no fee to mark as paid, and the reminders may otherwise remain in the list.

Go to Invoices and choose Unpaid, Overdue or All. Select the reminders you want to remove, or use Select all, and then click Delete selected.

The deletion runs while you stay on the page. You can see the progress and will get a confirmation when everything is done. The invoices themselves, due dates and payment status are not affected.

You can now set an age limit in the registration form

You can now decide what age participants must be to register for an event.

You can set a minimum age, a maximum age, or both. The age can be checked either on the day the participant registers or on the start date of the event.

The age check requires Ask for personal ID number to be enabled. Participants without a Swedish personal ID number can instead enter their date of birth.

The age requirement is shown directly in the form, and a participant who does not meet the requirement cannot complete the registration. The feature also works when registering multiple participants, for waiting lists, and in multiple languages.

You can enable the age check on the forms where you want to use it.

Set a limit on the number of participants per registration

When asking for the number of participants, you can now decide how many places one person can book in the same registration.

Under Other options, enable Ask for number of participants and then enter Maximum number of participants per registration.

The participant can book up to the limit you have set, but never more than the number of available places. If there are only four places left, only four can be booked.

The feature applies to regular places and does not affect waiting list places. It cannot be combined with Fixed number of participants.

Leave the value at 0 if you do not want to set your own limit. The feature is now available on all registration forms.

Require a fixed number of participants per registration

You can now set a fixed number of participants that each registration must include, for example a couple, a family or a team.

Under Other options, enter the required number in Fixed number of participants. The number is then filled in automatically and locked, so the participant cannot change it.

Ask for number of participants is automatically hidden and Ask for all participants' names is enabled, so that each place gets a name.

Leave the value at 0 if the participant should be able to choose the number as before. The feature is now available on all registration forms.

You can now archive images in the image library

Has your image library grown and become difficult to navigate? For those of you with many uploaded images, it can over time become hard to keep track of which images are still relevant.

We have now made it possible to archive images. This means you can move outdated images out of the active view without deleting them. No more scrolling through old images to find the right one, and no more uploading the same image twice because you could not find it.

Old images in too low a resolution that cannot be selected but still take up space in the view? Send them to the archive and keep your image library clean and easy to navigate.

If you want to clean up properly, it is still possible to delete images that have been uploaded but are not linked to any content.
